Here's a little something that I have recently joined.

On the Wing

Over Christmas I spent a little time in the garden,
just pottering around.

My definition of pottering is – the art of doing not much at all, whilst looking busy. Really quite fun.

Anyway, here I was pottering…
…when I looked up and saw a dragonfly perched on a fence,
right in front of my nose…

So I went stalking, and look what I found…

Can't wait to scrap them!

Life is Short.

January 17 is a hard day for me. And my family.

35 years ago my dad died. Big heart attack. I was 10.
He was 48. He left a family of 5 kids and mum.

I still miss him.

Today teaches me:
Life is too damn short, so don't take it seriously!

It's ok to skid into the customer service seat at Medicare feeling like a lottery winner, because your number came up, (yipee!) only to discover that it's not actually your number!!! To turn around and discover your husband bent double giggling like a school girl!!! actually that was pretty funny…

…see I'm better already!

Welcome to 2012!

Yes, and we are 16 days into it!

Today was the first day back at work, and although busy, I seemed to float through it. I hope that your first day when you got (or get) back into normality after Christmas goes as easily!

26 days have flown by on our holiday break.

John and his Dad had their own personal project with uncladding and then re-cladding our shed, just a small one guys, 6x15 metres!! Anyway, the finishing touches are going on as I write. Then the hard work of clearing the inside arrives! (Any volunteers??) I keep telling him it'll be like being a couple of pirates, there'll be treasure in them there walls! arrrrrr.

Happy Christmas

The year is drawing closer to the day the fat man arrives!

Kiddies visiting the shop have been getting more and more excited with the countdown. While the older 'kiddies'  have been "looking forward" and "not looking forward" to Christmas in equal degrees. (Sorry, I have been doing another
in-store poll!)

We are now officially closed for the year at Paper & Stuff.
And re-open on the 9th of Jan at 10am. The first week back we are open from 10am – 3pm monday to friday, then from the 16th back to normal.

We wish you all the best for Christmas,
and look forward to seeing you in 2012.

Christmas Trading Hours

Christmas is getting really close, so I thought I'd better let you know when we are opening and shutting!

We are open until 5pm on the 21st of December, and then are closed until 10am on the 9th of January. The first week that we are open, the trading hours are 10am until 3pm. Then from the 16th of January we are back to normal. (Well as normal as we get!!!) Normal being Monday to Thursday 9am until 5pm, and Fridays 9am until 4pm.

It is sometimes hard to come up with inspiration for new layouts, especially at this time of year, but we are sure that you'll find that this is very helpful indeed. Priced at $9.95 per page kit. The kits include all the materials to complete your page, and a handy full sized colour copy for you to take all measurements from.
